This is a language arts and literature studies course that will cover vocabulary and reading comprehension while promoting active reading and reflective thinking. Please plan to spend at least 2 hours each week reading the assigned chapters and completing homework assignments. There will be weekly vocabulary tests to help expand spoken language and comprehension. Additional assignments may be given to help with basic writing skills.
