Recorder Lessons for Beginners is a dive into music basics for 3rd to 5th graders! Using the recorder, students will learn about basic musical concepts such as rhythm, melody, harmony, pitch, and an introduction to note reading.  This class will prepare students to play more advanced instruments in band or orchestra class.  Concepts will be taught and practiced by playing the recorder, writing music, and playing games. Recorder Lessons for Beginners is a 16-week (one semester) class.
