LIFE'S TOOLBOX
Students will learn useful everyday skills. We will start by building a toolbox. Throughout the year, students will work on projects while learning. Students can start to fill their toolbox by collecting tools they learn how to use throughout the year. This class is very hands-on.
Here are some of the topics that will be covered:
– Basic household repair and maintenance: hanging curtains, repairing drywall, painting, etc. – Basic car maintenance: how to check a car’s tire pressure, fluid levels, changing a tire, etc. – Basic meal planning: creating a menu, making a grocery list, and preparing a simple meal – Responding to emergency situations.
