Hola y bienvenidos!

This class is designed to introduce students to the Spanish language by a thematic approach. We will be learning through songs, games, crafts, and most importantly by interacting with peers similar in age and learning level. Each unit will introduce different numbers, letters, and vocabulary.

As small beginners, this will be an excellent place to start and build their Spanish vocabulary while learning alongside friends their own age. My goal is that by the end of the year we will be able to have short conversations completely in Spanish. The following are some of the units we will be learning about:

Transportation

Fruits and Vegetables

Farm

Garden

Ocean

Forest

Pets

Students will also have a folder with material to study from during the week that will reinforce what we studied in class. I am very excited for this coming school year and the opportunity to build a foundation that our students can carry to be an asset later on in life.

MATERIALS: Crayons, scissors, glue, pencil and pencil box or pouch, and plastic folder with prongs.
