This class will deep dive into A Midsummer Night’s Dream in a way that most people never get to experience Shakespeare. It will be in the original Early Modern language, which is Shakespeare language.We will block, design sets, and learn to do classical theater that culminates in a year-end performance. The students will learn as much if not more about voice, literary devices, vocabulary, history, and Shakespeare himself as a traditional literature class. Be prepared to write backstories about some of the characters as well as analyze each act. Why not get a literature credit, learn classical theater performance, and have fun in a year-end performance!
