Pre-K at The Center is designed to be an introduction of a classroom setting for four year old kiddos to prep them before attending the "big world" of kindergarten!

Routines and expectations of school will be taught and established while socializing and becoming friends with peers.  We will have special school days like Dr. Seuss Week, pirate day,  and fun, hands-on thematic units based on seasons/holidays.  Our curriculum will include:

- Letter of the week where we work to identify its uppercase & lowercase forms and sound

- Tracing/writing skills

- Creating and identifying patterns

- Shapes

- Counting and identifying numbers 1-30

- 1:1 corresponding

- Literary Concepts

- Understanding sequencing

- Arts & crafts

- Music & movement

Students will need to bring a backpack and water bottle to class each day. They will have their own folder for taking home work and holding monthly calendars and communications.
