Have you ever wanted to learn to sing? Do you love serenading your family and want to perform on stage? Do you have an interest in theatre and working as a team? If so, this is the class for you! Using songs from Classic and Contemporary Musical Theatre we will learn about music theory, vocal technique, and how to sing in a group! You can expect to develop great practices for warming-up, analyzing lyrics, and exuding an impressive stage presence. 

Some of the benefits from being involved in theatre include developing a strong sense of self, becoming a more flexible and adaptable person, bolstering your resilience, and learning how to accept and manage responsibility. You can expect this class to challenge you on these skills and more! 

There will be a maximum of 5 short assignments based on our song choices due per semester and 20-30 minutes of daily practice expected. There is also a performance component each semester in which the students are expected to participate.
