This comprehensive language arts and literature studies course covers writing, vocabulary, spelling, and reading comprehension while promoting active reading and reflective thinking. In this class, students will not only receive exposure to the elements of language, writing methods, and grammar but also explore the world of literature through games and activities.  

Classroom instruction, guided practice, and at-home assignments will challenge and refine the students' reading and writing skills.

Students need to read and write at the 5th-grade level. This is not a remedial class. Please plan to spend 3-6 hours each week reading the assigned chapters and completing homework assignments.
