Algebra 2 is a continuation of the problem-solving skills learned in Algebra 1. The course covers several methods for solving quadratic equations, such as factoring, completing the square, and graphing. The text also introduces trigonometry and exponential functions--vital concepts for real world applications.

Homework:

Students should expect to spend approximately 2 hours per week completing assignments and reviewing the material taught in class. Assignments may include lessons from the textbook or worksheets provided in class.

Algebra 1 is a prerequisite for Algebra 2
