My name is Mrs. McCanlies, and this will be my 7th year teaching with the Center for Home

Education. I have been teaching since 2008 and have taught public and homeschool courses from

3rd to 12th grade! I have even been an adjunct professor at Texas Woman's University, training

teachers in the Reading Department. I have a bachelor's and master's degree in education from

TWU, majoring in reading education. When not learning or teaching, I love cuddling with my dogs,

traveling, gardening, and drinking coffee! I look forward to meeting all of you!
