Kaitlyn Wauneka has been teaching piano and music for eleven years. Her love of music began when she started taking piano lessons at age eight. Since then, she has studied piano technique, theory, sight-reading (with solfa), rhythm, dictation, and music history. She also completed eight music classes at New Mexico State University, and two classes at the University of Kansas, where she completed a B.S. in Business. Now she has her own piano studio, and volunteers to play piano accompaniment at her local church.

Twelve years ago, she decided to start homeschooling her children. She has participated and taught at homeschool co-ops throughout that time. Kaitlyn and her family serve at their local church, and enjoy games, cooking/baking, and outings.
