Kristy Howard is a second-generation home educator, wife to a chaplain, and mom of five amazing kids. As a lifelong bookworm and certified proofreader and copywriter, Kristy is thrilled to bring her love of all things English grammar, writing, and business into the classrooms at the Center for Home Education! Kristy began homeschooling back in 2008, and graduated her oldest daughter (who now serves overseas as an Army paralegal) in 2021. The four younger Howard kids are currently students at the Center. For the 2024/25 school year, Kristy is privileged to oversee the Think Tank program, along with teaching several high school business and writing classes. When she isn't reading, writing, or teaching, you'll likely find Kristy out on a jog, or enjoying a historic period drama.
