Nathan Reyna
Teacher

Nathan Reyna has been with The Center for Home Education since 2012, starting
out as a student, graduating, and then becoming a teacher for various classes and
camps for subjects like theater, music, filmmaking, and acting. He has performed
at The Cottage Theater in over 30 main stage productions and dozens of talent
recitals, as well as representing The Center in community performances outside of
the facility.
For a brief period between 2019-2020 he held the head theater educator and
director role before the covid-19 pandemic caused him to shift his priorities and
resign. In his time away he kept in touch with the community throughout the years
by attending recitals and the theater showings and participating in the community
main stage productions. Now he teaches Guitar and Songwriting classes and aids
the wonderful community and senior team at The Center in any way he can.
At the Cottage Theatre, he wrote, directed, and acted in the theater’s first
original play, “Six Men and a Room”, and then helped in various roles for the next
two original shows, “The Empty Seat" and "Bunker Down”, as well as casting and
directing the main stage productions of “Little Women”, “You’re a Good Man,
Charlie Brown”, and “Arsenic and Old Lace”.
Most recently he performed in The Cottage Theater’s recent showings of “Drinking
Habits”, “Drinking Habits 2: Caught in the Act”, and “Murder’s in the Heir”.
