Let’s make art together! In Masterpiece Makers your student will learn some art basics with Mrs. Jackson, such as color theory, value, shape, and composition. The first part of the year we will focus on drawing basics, then we will begin adding in more mediums such as pastels, watercolors and acrylic paints to make our masterpieces. Most activities will be teacher led, but on occasion students will have free choice art days to explore their creativity.

Supplies: Most art supplies will be provided, but students will need a portfolio to keep their work safe. These can be found at Michael’s, Hobby Lobby or on Amazon. The size should be 11x14, but please no larger due to storage limitations, thank you)

Students should also provide a pad of 9x12 watercolor paper for classroom use (Hobby Lobby has great quality paper for this!)

At the end of the year there will be an art show! Each student enrolled in this art class will have some of their Art displayed.
